What are your operating times?
- Our reservations service is open Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- On Saturday we are open between 8:00 am and 1:00pm.
- During public holidays and off hours our offices are closed.

Can I book a transfer with more than one stop?
Yes you can. All we need to know in advance is the number of stops and duration it will take when you have the stop. This will help to decide if there is any waiting charges or not.

Do I need an advance reservation?
Yes you need. The latest that you can make a reservation is 24 hours before the transfer. We highly recommend though that you book well in advance so that we can serve you better.
Can I change or cancel my reservation?
Yes. You can change or cancel your reservation 24hours before the arrival or departure time at no cost.
What happens if I need to cancel my reservation after I have paid ?
That is possible. All cancellations are done in writing. Send your cancellation to booking@airporttransfersinafrica.com
Cancellation should be done latest 24hrs before the arrival or departure time.
If cancellation is done within cancellation period, refund will be made to you. If cancellation email is send after the cancellation period, then full cancellation charges will apply.
Where do I meet the driver?
Our driver will be waiting for you outside baggage collection hall, holding a sign with your name on it.
What if my flight is delayed?
We monitor all the flights our clients are scheduled to come in with. In the event of delays we will wait for you at the scheduled time. We also encourage communication of such delays to our office where you have prior information.
How long will the driver wait for us to clear customs, immigration and baggage claim?
The driver will normally wait up to 60 minutes after your flight has landed before making enquiries and calling the mobile number you’ve provided. After this time and if there is no sign of the passenger the driver will leave the airport.
If you are delayed in customs, immigration, baggage collection or lost luggage please call the 24/7 number provided to ensure that your driver will wait.
Are there any extra charges?
The price you see is the price you pay, there are no hidden extras. Our fares are fixed, all-inclusive and are not affected by traffic jams or diversions.
What if I can't find my driver?
If you cannot locate your driver, contact our 24hrs emergency numbers; +254-735-622-704 or +254-785-634-355 and you’ll be directed to the meeting point.
Are your shuttles and cars air-conditioned?
All our vehicles are air-conditioned.
Is smoking allowed in your vehicles?
No. We strictly enforce a no-smoking policy inside our transfer vehicles.
Do you provide car seats for children under three years old?
Yes, with prior notification, car seats are provided.
Do you offer private transfers?
Yes. All our transfers are private. Clients do not share vehicles unless they are booked to share.
Can I get a transfer from/to any airport?
Transfers are available from and to the airport as well as around the countries we operate in.
We also offer transfers between resorts and between hotels and conference/convention centers.

What is your procedure for pickup transfer from the hotel?
Our driver will arrive at the hotel and inform the reception the details of the client he/she is there to pick up. The reception will call your room to notify you of our driver’s presence. Once you meet the driver, you depart for your drop off pint.
What is your waiting time for pickup transfer from the hotel?
Clients are offered 45 mins free waiting time. After this time and if there is no sign of the client the driver will call your number (if one is provided during booking). If you cannot be reached, the driver will leave the airport.
If you are delayed in customs, immigration, baggage collection or lost luggage please call the 24/7 number provided to ensure that your driver will wait.
At which terminal will the driver drop me off on departure?
The driver drops you off at the terminal indicated in your air ticket.
Should I tip the driver? How much?
Tipping is a personal decision and we leave it to you to decide.
Can you supply a specific make of vehicle?
We have a variety of vehicles for you to choose from. If none meets your interest, we will get you your choice or an alternative that is close to your choice.
Do you provide transfer service 24 hours/7 days a week? Is there any night supplement?
Yes we provide transfer services 24 hours/7 days a week and with no night supplement. All our rates are the same both at night and during the day.
If I cannot find a route that I want to book, what do I do?
For those routes that may not be in our detailed transfer rates, just contact our office for a direct quotation of the specific route.
How do we pay for our transfers?
You can pay via bank transfer or via Credit Card. For credit card payment, there is a small fee of 3.5% of the total amount charged by the banks.
